Sustainability Content Intern - Marketing Department (Part time/Intern) at Cheeky Panda

Based on Lower Thames St by the river next to Tower Bridge, you will be working with a great team of ambitious fun loving executives. Wearing panda hats is also a requirement!!

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be working alongside Marketing team to assist with content generation.

  • Keeping brand relevant and engaging on twitter

  • Writing scripts for sustainability animation series

  • Sourcing environmentally focused online groups, influencers and brands

  • Creating blog posts around environmental topics

  • Creating content for monthly newsletter

  • Replying to comments on social media channels

Our ideal candidate:

  • Studying/have studied an Environmentally focussed degree in a UK's top university

  • Skilled copywriter

  • Be highly knowledgeable and up to date on current sustainability trends and news

  • Actively follows and engages with environmental news online

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Salary: £10.00 /hour
Location Clerkenwell/London

Flexible Working Options Available:

Apprentice Environment Management Assistant at Calderale Council

Are you interested in sustainability and the environment?

Calderdale Council has declared a Climate Emergency and is leading local action against climate change. The Environmental Management Team is a driving force behind this activity, delivering projects that benefit the social, economic, and environmental health of our Borough.

We are looking for a keen, capable and enthusiastic person to join our Environmental Management Team. You will provide support to homes and businesses in Calderdale as well as our own Council to help reduce their environmental footprint and become efficient and more resilient.

This apprenticeship is with a small team with big reach. If you join us, you will learn how we are working to make Calderdale more sustainable, gaining various skills along the way such as digital marketing, data analysis and research competencies.

To boost your confidence, you will get training and support on a range of topics from energy and resource efficiency to air quality and better travel choices. We need someone interested in using and developing their skills in communication, data management, IT and administration.

Sustainability Intern at The South Pole Group

The Sustainability Intern will support our sustainability experts by conducting research tasks related to advisory for the financial sector, corporate sustainability, public advisory. This includes sustainable supply chains, climate risks and opportunities, clean technology, and renewable energy. Support our team with the preparation of deliverables for mandates and business development products.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Execution of research tasks in areas related to sustainability

  • Support in preparing project deliverables and proposals related to South Pole's sustainability topics

  • Seek, organise and generate data

  • Support our team with the preparation of deliverables for mandates and business development products

Profile requirements

  • A university degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Political Sciences, or related disciplines. A Master's degree will be an advantage.

  • Independent and pro-active worker who is diligent and reliable.

  • Excellent research, analytical and methodological skills.

  • Fully comfortable in conducting research tasks and creating reports.

  • Excellent oral and written command of English and German.

  • Previous work experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
